Cancellation Yura Lee
20 May 2024
Dear Friends,
May 19th 2024
Our violin and viola mentor Yura Lee has regrettably had to cancel her overseas flight from United States to Switzerland at the very last minute due to pneumonia that required hospitalization.
We are extremely grateful to have Máté Szücs, former Principal Viola of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, renown soloist and chamber musician as well as a Professor at the HEM Geneva coming to replace Yura Lee at a very short notice for the concerts on May 25th and 26th.
In addition, the young star Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut, who was the young prodigy in our inaugural edition in 2022 has agreed to take over the repertoire which Yura Lee originally had to play on May 23rd, 24th and 25th.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Salle del Castillo between May 22nd and 26th !
