Naïma Pfiffer
Piano

Born in 2010 in Echandens, Switzerland, Naïma Pfiffer began piano at seven at the Lausanne Conservatory, after trying out several instruments during an open day.
Trained by Jorge Viladoms and then Christian Favre, she joined the Musique-École programme of the Canton of Vaud at ten, the Lausanne Pre-HEM in 2023, and is currently studying at the Geneva HEM in Cédric Pescia’s class.
Her track record speaks for itself: four first prizes at the Swiss Youth Music Competition, a first prize at the Lavaux Classic Piano Competition in Vevey, a third prize at the Jeune Chopin Competition sponsored by Martha Argerich, and a first prize at the Geneva Junior Music Competition. By the age of fourteen, she had already performed at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Rosey Concert Hall and the Paderewski Hall, in recital, with orchestra, and alongside principal dancers.
In July 2025, at the Lausanne Conservatory’s graduation ceremony, she received the Prize of the Association des Ami·es du Conservatoire, an award recognising an outstanding musical journey, after performing Debussy’s L’Isle joyeuse.
She is supported by the Ruth and Ernst Burkhalter Foundation, which helps young talented soloists take their first steps on the concert stage. One more mark of recognition for a musician whose artistic maturity, already striking, is only beginning to find its full voice.
